Donna Lee (Snyder) Anderson

Donna Lee Anderson, 84, of Kokomo passed away at 6:44 AM, Monday, October 25, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital-Kokomo. She was born in Grant County on November 25, 1936 the daughter of Theodore and Marjorie Dicken Snyder. On October 16, 1982 Donna married Robert Lee Anderson in Amboy and he preceded her on December 3, 2020.

Donna graduated from Marion High School and later from I.E. Institute in Akron, OH. After graduation she worked as an Industrial Engineer for Anaconda W&C dedicating 36 years. Donna was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and of the Eastern Woodland Carving Club. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Family and friends were a priority to her and her family was her pride and joy.

Donna is survived by daughters Kathi J. (Ron) Montgomery of Van Buren, IN and Teddi J. VanBlaracum of Fort Myers, FL; her step children Connie Freshwater of Maryville, TN, Lisa R. Anderson of Indianapolis, IN, Lori R. (Billy) Wentz and step daughter-in-law Carole Anderson; 5 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; 14 step great grandchildren; and 3 step great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Robert she was preceded by her parents; brothers Ted Snyder and Jean Crist and step son James Anderson.

Family and friends will gather at the Laird-Eddy Funeral Home, 201 N. Main St., Amboy, IN from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, Friday, October 29, 2021. A graveside service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made through the Laird-Eddy Funeral Home to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
