Donald L. Miller, 75, of Peru, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Donald was born in Rochester, Indiana, on November 4, 1949, the son of Charles and Marjorie McCalla Miller. He married Deborah Thar on June 1, 1985 and she survives. Donald was a 1967 graduate of Rochester High School and continued his education at Edison State College in Fort Myers, Florida. He served in the United States Army and later became a truck driver for the Texaco Gas Company. Later in life, he went on to open The Other Guy pizza parlor in Rochester and thoroughly enjoyed working there and seeing people within his community. Donald is survived by his wife Deborah; a daughter Leigh Strand and her husband Clinton; a grand dog, Abbey; and a sister-in-law Donna Miller; a nephew Rex Robison and his wife Kris; and nieces Trina Miller, Angie Marlin and her husband Joe, and Lynn Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings Marsha Robison, Ronald Miller, and Dennis Miller. Per his wishes, there will be no services at this time.
