Donald M. Cravens

Donald M. Cravens, 66, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023, in East Tawas, MI.  He was born in San Bernadino, CA, on January 31, 1957, the son of Donald R. and Ruthann Spicka Cravens. 

Donald served in both the US Army and US Air Force.  He attended Auto Body school at Ivy Tech Community College.   Donald loved his family and thought the world of his son and grandchildren.  He was an avid collector of various “unique” items including coffee mugs and thoroughly enjoyed performing maintenance on vehicles.

Donald is survived by his son Justin Cravens and his wife Cameron of Macy, IN, his father Donald R. Cravens of Kokomo, a brother Ted Cravens and his wife Kim of Kokomo, sisters Sue Ann Webb and her husband Larry of NC, Maggie Bartlett and her husband John of Hartford City and Bette Moffett and her husband Kevin of Houston, TX, his companion Tammy Schmidt, grandchildren Kytin Stout, Breayla Stout, Aundrea Cravens, Randi Cravens, Carolyn Cravens and Wyatt Cravens and a foster child of 8 years, Daniel Benegas.    He was preceded in death by his mother Ruth Cravens.

A Memorial Gathering, celebrating the life of Donald Cravens will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main St.  Military Honors will be provided by the Miami County Military Rites Unit at 1:00 P.M. at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home.
