Delsie Violet Hoos, 53, of Peru, passed away August 8, 2025 at the St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on April 2, 1972, the daughter of Robert Garfield and Leonard Elsie Day Miller. Delsie loved life and all the endless opportunities it held. Family was very important to her. She was a passionate mom, grandma, sister and friend, who always made everyone she was with feel special. She showed us how to live beautifully and truthfully. Delsie is survived by her daughter, Brittany Miller of Russiaville; grandchildren Jacob, Abby, Maddy, and Carter; siblings Debbie Miller of New Mexico, and Johny Miller of Indiana; and her long term partner Andrew Pope. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings Robert “Bobby” Miller Jr. and Lenny Miller. Per the family's request, there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home.
