Deborah M. (Faust) Struble

Deborah Maria Struble, 72, of Peru, passed away at 8:44 A.M., Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Peru, IN on October 5, 1949, the daughter of Harry J. and Bettielue Fisher Faust. Debby married Philip M. Struble at St. Charles Catholic Church on May 6, 1972 and he preceded her in death on March 11, 2013. Debby was a 1968 graduate of Peru High School and was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church. She worked as a cashier at Kroger for 40 years and liked visiting with all the customers, which she considered friends. Debby enjoyed reading and working in the yard and traveling. She loved spending time with her family and watching the grandchildren playing various sports. At Christmas she played Mrs. Claus and delighted in the joy on people’s faces. Surviving are her children Chad Struble (Holly Ward) of Peru, Kate Ann (Keith) Miller of Kokomo and Natalie Jane (Patrick) Bell of Peru; grandchildren Karli Miller, Kaden Miller and Addyson Struble and a brother H. Jon (Sandi) Faust of Peru. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister Rebecah Faust and brothers-in-law William Struble and Edward Struble. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M., Monday, February 7, 2022 at St. Charles Catholic Church, 58 West 5th St., Peru with Rev. Adam Mauman officiating. Family and friends will gather from 1:00 to 6:00 P.M., Sunday, February 6th at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 West Main St., Peru. There will be a Prayer Service on Sunday at 6:00P.M., at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home to the American Diabetes Association or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
