Danny E. Phillips, 63, passed away at 3:15 P.M., Saturday, March 26, 2022 in Johnson City, TN. Danny was born in Wabash, IN on June 19, 1958, the son of Earl and Carol Connor Phillips. He married Jettie Kathern “Kathy” Harris on November 22, 1980 and she preceded him in death on January 26, 2022. Danny was a diesel mechanic by trade, but was ready with a warm smile and a listening ear to anyone he met. Surviving are sons Randy Thacker of MS and Micheal Thacker of TN; grandchildren Gabriel Thacker and Isaac Thacker. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Kathy and a son Curtis Barrett. A graveside service, celebrating the life of Danny Phillips will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 4, 2022 at the Mt. Hope Cemetery Chapel, 411 N. Grant St., Peru, IN.
