Cory Reed

Cory Reed, 33, passed away in Ishpeming, Michigan on June 7, 2019 at 7:08 P.M. Cory was born on March 13, 1986, the son of Tobias “Toby” Reed and Tracy Barnett Gilbertson. He married Ashley Southerton on April 5, 2013 and she survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife, is a son, Caen Reed, his parents Toby Reed, Peru, and Tracy Gilbertson and her husband Kurt, Peru; sisters, Ayris Gilbertson and Erica Gilbertson; paternal grandparents, Ronald and Addie Reed, Peru; aunts and uncles, Peggy (Gary) Deich, Angie (David) Marburger, Rick (Beverly) Barnett, Randy (Peggy) Barnett, Robby Barnett, Ronny Barnett, and Teresa (Kevin) Masters.

A service celebrating the life of Cory Reed will be held on Friday, June 14, at 7:00 P.M. at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 West Main, with Reverend Rick Barnett officiating. Family and friends will gather Friday prior to the service from 5:00-7:00 P.M at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cory’s son, Caen Reed.
