Christopher Wilhelm, 68, of Peru, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025, at his residence. He was born on June 21, 1956, the son of Walter and Mary Bowan Wilhelm. Christopher was a 1974 graduate of Peru High School and a US Army Veteran. He was an avid reader, and was fascinated by history and war, often engaging in conversations and expressing his knowledge. He loved nature and enjoyed being out in it. Christopher is survived by his daughter Crystal Kuebel of Peru; a grandson Damien Kuebel of Oregon; brothers David Wilhelm, Jim Wilhelm, Mike Wilhelm, Mark Wilhelm; and a sister Linda Shultz. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Paul and Patrick Wilhelm. A Celebration of life will be held at 10:00 AM, on Monday, March 24, 2025, at the First Baptist Church, 53 E Main St. Peru.
