Betty H. Leasor, 98, of Peru, passed away at 5:48 P.M., Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Blair Ridge Health Campus, Peru. She was born on May 25, 1927, in Morocco, IN, the daughter of Rueal B. Tate and Helen Ruth (Latshaw) Tate. Betty married Donald P. Reichling on August 2, 1946 and he preceded her in death on June 1, 1994, she then married Norman R Leasor on September 29, 1995 and he also preceded her in death on November 8, 2013. Betty was a 1945 graduate of Peru High School and attended Wabash Vocational School . Never one to be idle, Betty worked at various places over the years, including REMC, JC Penny’s, McKinney’s RCA, American Stationery and Fashion Cleaners. Additional family include a son, Michael P. Reichling; a step-daughter, Wanda J. (Gary) Miller of Monticello; nieces, Pamela Lovelace of AL and Gayle Johnson of NC and a nephew, Greg Johnson of TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald and husband Norman and a sister, Ruelene Smith. Betty’s final resting place will be with her husband, Donald Reichling, in Ever Rest Memorial Park, Logansport.
