Alejandro Quinones, 77, of Peru, passed away at 4:16 A.M., Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the Hospitals of Providence, El Paso, TX. He was born in Chihuahua, Mexico April 19, 1947, the son of Santur Nino and Michaela Eschdero Quinones. Alejandro married Maria Cristina Torrez in Florida in 1970 and she preceded him in death May 26, 2012. Family was very important to Alejandro and he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Most of all, he did his best, lived well, laughed often, loved and was loved by many – a life well lived by any standard Surviving are sons Antonio Quinones of Anderson, IN and Johnny Quinones and his wife Veronica of Lafyette, IN. and numerous grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Alejandro Quinones will be held at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at St. Charles Catholic Church, 58 W. 5th St., Peru with Fr. Gustavo Lopez officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Family and friends will gather from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Monday, April 29th at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main St., Peru. There will be a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. Monday at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home.
