William J. Weinke, Jr.

William J. Weinke Jr., 65, of Indianapolis passed away Monday, February 18, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Peru on May 6, 1953, the son of William J. Weinke Sr. and Mary Jane (Kennedy) Weinke. He was a 1971 graduate of Peru High School and the Atlantic Airline School in Kansas City, MO. A former member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. William worked at US Airways and Kroger Co. He was a kind and caring person. Surviving is a sister, Suzanne Faust, nephews, Jon W. Faust (Indianapolis) and Dr. Robert E. Faust (Mobile, AL), a niece, Jodi Mann (Peru), and great nieces, Molly and Anna. A graveside service honoring William J. Weinke Jr. will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 2, 2019 at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery with Pastor Kenneth Greenwald officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home to St. John’s Lutheran Church or the Humane Society of the United States.
