Wayne E. Guillaume, 72, of Peru, passed away at 11:30 AM, Thursday, December 7, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Peru on November 11, 1945, the son of Richard and Harriet Griswold Guillaume. Wayne married Norma Ruark in Peru on November 13, 1965 and she survives

. Wayne graduated from Peru High School in 1964 and enlisted in the US Navy serving in the Pacific Fleet (VP6) anti-submarine planes. Upon returning to Peru in 1968 Wayne worked at Square D until 1974 when he restarted his Military Career in the US Air Force Reserve at Grissom as a Jet Engine Mechanic retiring as a Master Sergeant in 2003. His military declarations include the National Defense Service Medal, the Navy Unit Commendation Medal, the Navy Good Conduct Medal, the Airforce Outstanding Unit Award Ribbon, the Air Force Reserve Meritorious Medal and the Armed Forces Reserve Medal. Wayne attended the Air Force Community College and was a certified as a power plant technician. Additionally he was an FCC Certified Amateur Radio Technician. Wayne was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Peru, Peru American Legion Post #14, and the Kustom Kings Kar Klub.

He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and his number one priority was spending time with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 52 years wife Norma, are his daughter Angela Guillaume of Yorktown, IN sons Bradley Guillaume of Kokomo and Cary Guillaume of Dayton, OH; grandchildren Jared Miller, Hannah Guillaume, Ryan Miller, Grace Guillaume and Matthew Guillaume and a sister Sonya Morgan and her husband Bob of Akron, IN. A service celebrating the life of Wayne E. Guillaume will be held at 7PM, Monday, December 11, 2017 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Winters Officiating. Visitation will be after 4:00 PM Monday at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home.

Military gravesides services provided by the Miami County Military Rites Unit will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery on Saturday, December 16. 2017 at 11:00 AM

In lieu of flower memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to the First Church of the Nazarene.
