Steven Joseph Hartleroad

Steven J. Hartleroad, 48, of Peru, passed away at 3:26 PM, Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne, IN. He was born in Peru on August 30, 1970, the son of Gregory and Diane Hull Hartleroad.

Steve married Maureen Wood on November 17, 2017 and she survives. Steve was a 1989 graduate of Peru High School and was employed by Reinking Construction in Logansport, IN. He was a drummer in the Peru High School Band and still enjoyed playing the drums today. An avid wood worker Steve enjoyed anything related to carpentry. He also earned his associate degree in information technology which he was extremely proud to have achieved. 

Surviving in addition to his wife Maureen are his parents Diane and Gregory Hartleroad of Peru, IN, daughters Emily Cattin, of Ft. Wayne, and Bridgette Cattin of Peru, step-daughters Josilyn Waller of Kokomo, Brenna Waller of Peru, Kyle Waller of Peru, and Madison Ray of Peru; a brother Gregory Hartleroad and his wife Laura of Peru.

A Memorial Gathering for Steven J. Hartleroad will be held from 2:00-5:00 PM, Sunday. October 7, 2018 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main Street, Peru, IN.
