Robert A Higdon

Robert A. Higdon, 51, of Peru passed away at 4:59PM, Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at The Visiting Nurses Hospice Home in Ft. Wayne, IN. He was born in Wabash County, Indiana, on January 20, 1967. He was adopted and raised by his maternal grandparents Benny and Loletta Higdon. Robert married Petchy Perang at the Church of the Nazarene in Peru on February 11, 2010, and she survives.

Robert was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Peru and a devoted husband and father. He thoroughly enjoyed fishing and was an avid mushroom hunter. Surviving in addition to his wife Petchy are sons Robert S. Higdon of Kentucky, Christopher Higdon of Kentucky, Justin Higdon of Peru and Jacob Higdon of Peru, a sister Polly Joseph of Kentucky and brothers Clemme (Becky) Joseph of Peru, Gregory (Karen) Joseph of Peru, Nelson Baker of Kokomo, Hollis Baker of Ft. Wayne, IN and Curt (Julie) Baker of Kokomo, six grandchildren also survive.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Robert A. Higdon will be held at 1:30 PM, Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Church of the Nazarene, 331 W. 6th Street with Pastor Mark Elliot and Pastor Tony Winter officiating.

The Family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service on Saturday.
