Reece E. Griffith

Reece E. Griffith, 52, of Peru, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Bellevue, OH on January 11, 1967, the son of Gerald C and Janet Knott Griffith. Reece received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Toledo and was employed as a Civil Engineer. He is survived by his mother, Janet Griffith of Peru, brothers David Griffith and his wife Julie of Perrysburg, OH, Andrew Griffith and his wife Sara of Roanoke, VA, sisters Patti Gallagher and her husband John of Toledo, OH, Suzanne Prestien and her husband Mark of New Wilmington, PA, Kathleen Martin and her husband Brad of Monticello, IN and Amy Darland and her husband Dick of Peru. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. A Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Reece E. Griffith will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, August 23, 2019 at the St. Charles Catholic Church, 58 West 5th St., Peru with Rev. Adam Mauman officiating. Burial will be in the St. Charles Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to St. Vincent de Paul. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, Peru.
