Patricia L. (Whipple) Hagen

Patricia L. Hagen, 92, formerly of Peru, passed away at 4:35 A.M., Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Lutheran Life Villages in Ft. Wayne, IN. She was born in Star City, IN on October 15, 1925 the daughter of Merle and Agnes Henry Whipple. Pat married Gerald H. Hagen at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Peru on February 19, 1950 and he preceded her in death on August 2, 2009. Pat was a 1943 graduate of Star City High School, and a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church. She was employed by Delco Electronics retiring in 1980. She is survived by a daughter Lindsay Sattler and her husband James of Aurora, CO, a granddaughter Erin E. Exner and her husband Bill of Hudson, CO, grandsons Keith Michael Exner and Austin Lee Exner and a sister Jane Ewing of Winamac, IN. A service celebrating the life of Patricia L. Hagen will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the St. John’s Lutheran Church, 181 West Main St., Peru, with Pastor Kenneth Greenwald officiating. Family and friends will gather from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 West Main St., Peru. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to the St. John’s Lutheran Church.
