Mary Diane Decker, 62, of Peru, passed away at 9:22 A.M., Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Pottsville, PA on December 22, 1954, the daughter of Edward R. and Theresa McCluskey Buchinski. Diane married Alfred Decker in Anderson, IN on December 28, 1974 and he survives.

Diane received her BA in Education from Anderson College and taught elementary classes until her retirement.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Alfred are her parents Edward and Theresa and a brother Ed Buchinski of PA and a sister Terri Maley of PA.

A Catholic Memorial Mass will be held on September 19, 2017, at 10:00 AM at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, Hatfield, PA with Father Chung officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Park, New Kensington, PA.
