Lois E McKee

Lois E. McKee, 93, of Peru, passed away at 9:40 A.M., Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Dukes Memorial Hospital, Peru. She was born in Peru on July 7, 1924, the daughter of Jesse and Mabel Gray Miller. Lois married Robert V. McKee on January 10, 1944 and he preceded her in death on April 27, 1981. Lois was a 1942 graduate of Peru High School and attended First Baptist Church, Peru. Surviving is a son, Kirk McKee of Peru and a daughter Kim Jones and her husband Jerry of Avon Park, FL; grandchildren Kelly Robert Jones, Tara Ann Jones, Ryan David Jones and Sean McKee; great-grandchildren Hunter Alan Bartel, Conner Bartel, Casidy Bartel, Aubrey Jones, Avery Jones, Alexandra Jones, Kelsey McKee, Kensey McKee and Karsyn McKee. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, a daughter-in-law Cheryl McKee, sisters June Samsel, Jessie Venice and Dorothy Freeman and a brother Avery Miller. A Graveside service celebrating the life of Lois E. McKee will be held at 2:30 P.M., Friday, March 2, 2018 at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Peru with Pastor Kenny Cole officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, Peru.
