Kathryn Pauline Barto

Kathryn P. Barto, 96, of Denver passed away at 10:50 P.M. on Friday, June 28, 2019 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Peru. Kathryn was born June 17, 1923 in Bendersville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Russell and Susan Black Heller. She married Clifford Barto in Campbellstown, Pennsylvania on January 16, 1943 and he preceded her in death on August 2, 1986.

Kathryn was a member of the Plainfield Church of God and was employed by Pizzo Manufacturing for over twenty-five years.

She is survived by her son, Clifford A. Barto, Carlisle, PA; grandchildren, Sheri Licklider, Denver, IN,Christine Otto, Carlisle, PA, and Brenda Cassell, Carlisle, PA; and great-grandchildren, Tayler Licklider, Kenneth Licklider, Brandon Madarang, Sara Otto, Trisha Mowery, and Dustin Cassell. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Clifford Barto.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Kathryn will be laid to rest in Pennsylvania with her husband.
