Jean Campbell Vrooman

Jean Campbell Vrooman, 98, formerly of Peru, passed away at 9:11 A.M., Thursday, May 23, 2019 at her daughter Kay home in Lakewood, OH. She was born in Peru on May 11, 1921, the daughter of Schuyler and Etta Louise Young Hiteshew. Jean married Floyd Campbell on November 8, 1939 and he preceded her in death on December 6, 1988. She then married Richard Vrooman on October 11, 1996 and he preceded her in death on July 29, 2008. Surviving are her children Larry Campbell and his wife Mary of Killeen, TX, Patrick Campbell and his wife Teresa of Kokomo, IN and Kay Bacho and her husband Kenneth of Lakewood, OH, a daughter-in-law Betty Jo Campbell of Logansport, IN, and a good friend Bill Bentley of Logansport, IN. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Floyd and Richard, a son Jerry Campbell and a brother Richard Hiteshew. A service celebrating the life of Jean Campbell Vrooman, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 West Main St, Peru with Rev. J. Robert Clark officiating. Burial will be in Ever Rest Memorial Park, Logansport, IN. Family and friends will gather from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M., Tuesday at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home.
