Janet Susan Hilgeman, 77, of Peru, passed away at 4:58 P.M., Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at her residence. Susie was born in Peru on September 3, 1941, the daughter of Lyman and Ruth McDade Cover. She married John P. Hilgeman and he survives. Susie worked as a clerk at Peru Utilities. Surviving in addition to her husband, John, are her sons Blake Hilgeman and his wife Yvonne of Walton and John J. Hilgeman of Peru; grandchildren Daniel Hilgeman, Alyia Hilgeman, Ashley Hilgeman and Kailen Hilgeman. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home.
