George Edward “Ed” Cunningham, 80, of Ft. Wayne, IN passed away at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, November 12, 2011 at the Visiting Nurses and Hospice Home in Ft. Wayne. Ed was born in Peru, IN on December 22, 1930 the son of George F. and Zella (Butt) Cunningham

A graduate of Peru High School and Ed served in the U.S. Army. Ed was the founder and Co-Owner of Cunningham Optical.

Surviving is his wife, Helen (Walker) Cunningham, two sons, G. Eric Cunningham of Cape Coral, FL and Chad E. Cunningham and his wife Julia of Ft. Wayne, IN; three grandchildren, Alec E. Cunningham, Cole R. Cunningham and Lauren E. Cunningham; two sisters, Loretta (Cunningham) Vincent of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Helen (Cunningham) Redmon of San Antonio, TX

In Honor of his wishes, there will be no services.
