Edward H. White, 74, of Peru, passed away at 11:50 P.M., Sunday, November 26, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Liverpool, England on September 5, 1943, the son of Weldon W. and Margie Gandy White. Ed married Judith Mowery on September 18, 1961 and she survives. Ed was a retired mechanic. He loved riding motorcycles and in recent years, he downsized to his “Blue Scooter”. Ed was a jack of all trades, he could fix anything, was very particular about maintaining his yard and the upkeep of his home. Ed was very passionate and dedicated to his family. In his quiet and unassuming manner, he was a devoted husband, father, grandpa and great-grandpa. Surviving in addition to his wife, Judy, is a daughter Ann Williams and her husband Delbert of Mexico, IN, sons Kevin White and his wife Eva of Heidelberg, Germany and Andrew White of Peru, grandchildren Dakota Williams, Brooklyn Williams and Victoria White, a great-grandson Aras Williams and a brother Robert White and his wife Barbara of Peru. A service celebrating the life of Edward H. White will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 West Main Street, Peru with Rev. J. Robert Clark officiating. Family and friends will gather from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to Miami County Helping Hands.
