Catherine "Cathy" Lynn Ray

Catherine Lynn “Cathy” Ray, 70, of Kewanna, IN, passed away at 2:23, A.M., Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Blair Ridge Health Campus. She was born in Miami County, IN on November 30, 1947, the daughter of Marion and Maxine Tibbits Bowman. Cathy married Norman Gene Ray and he survives. Surviving is addition to her husband, Norman, are sons Gene (Jannet) Ray of Merrillville, IN, Norman Ray, Jr. of Peru and Tommy(Amanda) Rayof Russiaville, IN, daughters Katherine Sellers of Peru, Michelle Ray of Peru, Mary Wheetley of Bunker Hill and Tonya (Richard) Gregory of Kokomo; 34 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, a son John Ray, Son-in-law Donald Sellers, brothers Bill Bowman and Mike Bowman and a sister Vicki Raver. A Private family service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 West Main St., Peru with Pastor Carol Zumwalt officiating. Burial will be at the Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico, IN. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses. .
