Billie J. Hoover

Wednesday evening, the Lord said, “Billie, receive your rest” and Billie Hoover, 71, of Peru was gathered into her heavenly home. She was born in Peru, on December 17, 1947, the daughter of William and Hellen Maxine Lewis Wilson. Billie married William Hoover on June 19, 1965 and he survives. Billie and her husband, Bill, lovingly raised seven children. A woman of deep religious conviction, she was an active member of the Four Square Gospel Church where she loved working with children. She was a loyal, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Billie was an avid reader and thoroughly enjoyed cross-stitching. Surviving in addition to her husband, Bill, are her children Andrea ( Troy) Truax of Peru, Luci Spearmon of Florida, Cyndi Trent of Ft. Wayne, Leigh Allen of Peru, Aaron Hoover of Peru and Adam Hoover of Peru, a brother Mick (Judith) Wilson of Rochester; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son David Hoover and brothers Dennis and Larry Wilson. A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Billie J. Hoover, will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the Chapel of Praise, 2430 S. Business 31, Peru, IN with Pastor Marie Thompson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Chapel of Praise. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home.
