Beverly G (Premer) Smith

Beverly G. Smith, 78, of Peru, passed away at 9:48 PM, Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Parkview Wabash Hospital, Wabash, IN. She was born in Peru on July 20, 1940, the daughter of Ernest and Dorothy Melson Premer. Bev married Harold W. Smith at the Main Street Untied Methodist Church in Peru on August 3, 1961 and he survives.

Bev was 1958 graduate of Peru High School, and a member of the Oakdale Baptist Church. She graduated from the Indianapolis LPN School. She worked many years as a LPN in the office of Dr. John Crawshaw.

Surviving in addition to her husband Harold, are sons Anthony Smith and his wife Kim of Delphi, IN and Andrew Smith and his wife Lori of Macy, IN, a daughter Jennifer White and her husband Chad of Terra Haute, IN; a sister Docia Webb and her husband Danny of Peru, IN; grandchildren Anthony Smith, Jr., Joseph Smith, Alex Smith, Jessa Pitman, Hevin Smith, Blaize Smith, Joshua White, Isaac White and Sarah White and four great-grandchildren.

A service celebrating the life of Beverly G. Smith will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 12, 2018 at the Oakdale Baptist Church, 348 Chili Avenue, Peru, IN with Pastor Robert Stuck officiating. Burial will be at the Mt. Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church after 10:00 AM, Friday.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Oakdale Baptist Church.
