Angela K. Gebhart

Angela K. Gebhart, 43, of Peru, passed away on May 22, 2019 at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, IN. She was born in Peru on December 23, 1975, the daughter of William and Sara Ousley Gebhart. Angela was a 1994 graduate of Peru High School and was Assistant Manager at Subway. A silent hero, Angela has saved three lives by being an organ donor. Surviving are her father William Gebhart and his wife Margaret of Kokomo, mother Sara Brannum and her husband Brett of Peru, fiancé Emery Stapleton of Peru, children Alexia Mendivil and her husband Ricardo of Peru, Courtney Kaufman of Peru, Matthew Kaufman of Kokomo and Sara Gebhart of Peru; step children Bryce Stapleton of Peru and Kerynne Stapleton of Peru; grandchildren Grace Lockhart, Bentley Kaufman, Benjamin Morris, Aribella Murphy, Ricardo Mendivil and Jemma Kaufman; sisters Jennifer Gebhart (Matthew Ulshafer) of Peru and Heather Leavitt and her husband Rob of Kokomo. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A service celebrating the life of Angela K. Gebhart will be held at 8:00 P.M., May 29, 2019 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 West Main St., Peru with Rev. J. Robert Clark officiating. Family and friends will gather from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses .
