Stewart A. Huff, 64, of Peru passed away at 3:57 AM, Thursday, September 18, 2014, at his residence. He was born in Peru, IN on January 22, 1950, the son of James W. and Renee Creasey Huff. Stew married Jennifer Townsend Ream on September 3, 2014 and she survives.

Stew was a 1968 graduate of Peru High School and received his B.S. Degree in Physics from Indiana State University in 1972. He was employed as the head of Engineering at Wabash Magnetics and was co-owner of Keller Kleaners in Peru until his retirement in 2013. Stew was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Peru.

Stew was a devoted family man, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and a great uncle. He was an outdoors man and avid deer hunter. He thoroughly enjoyed firearms and spending time on his gun range.

Surviving in addition to his wife Jenny are step children, Jeremy Ream and his wife Laura of Peru, IN and Trisha Ream and her wife Tasheena of Bloomington, IN., a brother Stephen Huff and his wife Diane of Chester, VA, a sister Pamela Hull and her companion Don Humfleet of Peru, IN, grandchildren Brody Smith, Brady Ream, Emily Ream, Bode Ream and Layla Ream, and nieces and nephews Andrea (Rob) Harness, Yvette (Steve) Paul, Jennifer Huff, Hilary Huff, Wade Huff, Blake (Billie) Hull-Cochran and Katelynn Gilvin.

A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Stewart A. Huff will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 25, 2014, at the First Presbyterian Church, 102 W. Main St., Peru, IN with Pastor Stephen Quinlan officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service Thursday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
