Pauline Hostetler, 96, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away at 12:46 PM, Friday, January 2, 2015 at North Woods Village, Kokomo. She was born in Miami County on September 19, 1918, the daughter of Willis and Jessie Bechtel Hostetler.
Pauline was a retired LPN and owned and operated the Berne Nursing Home in Berne, IN. Her desire in life was to be a missionary and she always felt that caring for the elderly and children helped her reach that goal.
She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and four sisters. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A service celebrating the life of Pauline Hostetler will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at the Howard-Miami Mennonite Church, 3976 E. 1400 South, Kokomo, with Pastor Ben Schlegel. Burial will follow in the Mast Cemetery in Howard County. Family and friends of Pauline Hostetler will gather from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Tuesday at the Howard-Miami Mennonite Church.
