Loving wife and mother, Kathy Mitting, 62, of Roann, IN, passed away at 9:53 AM, Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Ft. Wayne, IN. She was born in Huntington, WV, on September 26, 1954 the daughter of Paul and Eltha Keenan Venoy. Kathy married Gregory Mitting in Wabash, IN on February 11, 1977 and started their family before relocating to Roann, IN. Before retiring, Kathy and her husband Gregory owned and operated a local flower and hobby shop, Mitting’s Flowers and Kidsville in Wabash. Kathy is survived by her husband Gregory; children Gregory Scott Mitting and his wife Jennifer of Phoenix, AZ, Kary Martin and her husband David of Auburn, IN and Sara Neidigh and her husband Austin of Bloomfield, IN; grandchildren Kaylee Martin, Alyssa Martin, Molly Martin and Jude Neidigh; a sister Reta Adkins and her husband Rick of Radcliff, KY and brothers Keith Venoy and his wife Brenda of Cincinnati, OH, David Venoy, of Huntington, WV and Marvin Thomas Venoy and his wife Debbie of Barboursville, WV. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Larry Venoy. At Kathy’s request there will be no funeral service. There will be a gathering of friends and family at a later date. .
