Karen Blue, 70, of Peru, IN passed away at 10:36 P.M., Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Peru, IN on July 10, 1942 the daughter of Leonard Eugene and Opal Louise Brunson Jackson. Karen married Bob Blue at the Oakdale Baptist Church in Peru on March 12, 1971 and he survives.

Karen was a 1960 graduate of Chili High School and a member of the Oakdale Baptist Church. She was employed by various cable companies in Peru for more than 25 years. Karen was an avid reader.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Bob, are her daughters Lori Miser and her husband Craig of Indianapolis, IN, Lori Cole of Indianapolis, IN and Leslie Cole of Indianapolis, IN; a sister Rita Jackson of Peru, IN and four grandchildren, Alex Miser, Jesse Miser, Travis Correll and Jessica Burton

Family and friends will gather from noon to 3:00 P.M., Monday, August 27, 2012 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 West Main, Peru. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday at Mt. Hope Cemetery with Pastor Robert Stuck officiating.

Memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to Rosie’s Rescue and Retreat.
