Helen Devine, 90, formerly of Peru, IN. passed away at 11:50 P.M., Monday, May 19, 2014 at Sugar Grove Assisted Living , Plainfield, IN. She was born in Peru, IN on September 14, 1923 the daughter of Joseph Martin and Katie Clifford Devine.

She was a 1941 graduate of Peru High School and a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church. She was employed as a secretary, and later as a manager for Indiana Bell for over 36 years. Helen loved visiting with family and friends. Helen was very active in the national Right to Life campaign, volunteering many long hours for their cause.

She is survived by her Godson and caregiver Robert Hansen and his wife Sherry of Mooresville, and caregiver Rex Hansen and his wife Carol of Fishers and nephews Sean Murphy and his wife Tami and Kevin Murphy and his wife Joyce.

A service celebrating the life of Helen Devine will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral 84 W. Main Street, Peru with Rev. Eric Underwood officiating. Family and friends will gather from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home Memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to the St. Charles Catholic Church.
