Charlene Jean Anderson Durbin, 85, formerly of Peru, IN, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013 in Alexandria, VA. She was born in Peru, IN on October 17, 1927 the daughter of Arthur Bradley and Alice Marie LaPierre Anderson.

Charlene graduated from Peru High School and the John Herron School of Art. She was truly a good, fine and fun-loving person . More than anything she was a very artistic and a free-spirit person.

She is survived by a son Kerry (KC) Durbin of Virginia; grandchildren Trent Durbin and Keara Durbin both of Virginia and Heather Holloway of Ohio; great-grandchildren Jade Alexandra Holloway, Ariya Joy Holloway and Jax Alexander Holloway.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Charlene Durbin will be held at 2:30 PM, Saturday, August 10, 2013 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 West Main Street, Peru, IN with Deacon Bradley Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the St. Charles Cemetery, Peru, IN.
