Jerald "Jerry" Lee Wolf

Jerald Lee “Jerry” Wolf, 77, passed away at 11:50 AM, Friday, March 8, 2024, at Blair Ridge Health Campus. He was born in Peru, IN on April 10, 1946, the son of John and Relna (Lees) Wolf. On June 5, 1982, Jerry married Susan Armstrong and she survives.

Jerry was a 1964 graduate of Peru High School and a 1968 graduate of Manchester College. He served in the United States Air Force and his military decorations include the National Defense Service Medal and the Air Force Good Conduct Medal. He was an avid sports fan following Notre Dame, IU, Chicago Cubs and of course, his local home team, the Peru Tigers.

When not closely following his favorite sports teams or playing, you could find him taking part in 4-H and frequenting state and county beef shows. Jerry had an amazing sense of humor, which he loved sharing with his family and friends. Above all he loved spending time with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Susan, Jerry is survived by his brother John Wolf and his wife Carolyn and sister Barbara Chandler and her husband James; sister-in-law Liane Huber; nephews Mark Wolf, Mike Wolf, Lee Chandler and Jason Huber; and nieces Emily Mofield, Jane LaFollett and Heather Huber.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

A service celebrating the life of Jerald Lee “Jerry” Wolf will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 W. Main St., Peru, IN with Pastor Randy Smoot officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Family and friends will gather from 9:00 to 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at the funeral home.
