Mildred L. Hodson, 90, of Greentown, IN, passed away at 2:57 PM, Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Century Villa Health Care in Greentown, IN. She was born in Howard County, IN on February 5, 1921 the daughter of James O. and Maude Zimmerman Rust. Mildred married Robert J. Hodson on October 26, 1940 in the Methodist Parsonage in Andrews, IN and he preceded her in death on July 13, 2008.

Mildred graduated from Jackson Township High School and was a member of the Greentown Assembly of God.

She is survived by a son Jerry Hodson and his wife Joy of Kokomo, IN; a daughter Linda Warren-Skinner and her husband Vernon of Marion, IN; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert and a sister Doneta Chaplin.

A service celebrating the life of Mildred L. Hodson will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the Laird-Eddy Funeral Home, 201 North Main Street, Amboy, IN with Pastor Randy Blankenship officiating. Burial will be in the Park Lawn Cemetery, Amboy, IN. Family and friends will gather after 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the Laird-Eddy Funeral Home.
