51 years ago my father and myself went to work for Jerry Kerns with the R.l. Schutt Co.
It was a friendship that would last a lifetime. I owe a lot to Jerry for the success I have had in my life, he was a great role model as he always wanted to do the right thing. I
viewed him as a fair man, who treated people likewise. He possessed a great sense of
humor and loved sports.
Today I mourn his passing, but I will carry the memories for the rest of my life and remember them fondly.
My condolences to Helen, Tyra, Barry and his extended family.
