God saw Emma Graber getting weary. He did what he thought best, and He took her in his arms and said, “Come and rest” at 4:25 PM, Monday May 15, 2017 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Howard County, Indiana on February 24, 1933, the daughter of Ezra and Tillie Gingerich Miller. She married Ernest Graber on November 2, 1952 and he preceded her in death on June 26, 2008. Emma and her husband Ernest owned and operated Graber Supply of Amboy. She and her husband lovingly raised 11 children. A lady of great faith and integrity she was an active member of Bethany Fellowship Church. Surviving are sons Benjamin Graber and his wife Miriam, Raymond Graber and his wife Laura, Carl Graber and his wife Linda, Kenneth Graber and his wife Rita; daughters Carolyn Beachy and her husband Marvin, Mary Ellen Knepp and her husband Phillip, Tillie Lichty and her husband Mervin, Linda Yoder and her husband Richard, Elmina Hochstedler and her husband Keith and Roseanna Graber; daughter-in-law Waneda Graber; brothers Eli Miller and his wife Fannie, Harvey Miller and his wife Shirley; sisters Silva Graber and her husband Ben and Ruby Carter. Fifty-four grandchildren and seventy-five great-grandchildren also survive. Emma was preceded in death by her mother Tillie, her step-mother Fannie, her father Ezra, her husband Ernest, a son Ronald, two granddaughters and two great-grandsons. A Service celebrating the life of Emma Graber will be held at 10:00 AM, Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Bethany Fellowship Church, 5027 N. 500 E. Kokomo, IN with Marvin Beachy and Darlton Bontrager officiating. Burial will be in the Christner Cemetery, Miami County. Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 Saturday, at the Bethany Fellowship School, 5169 N. 600 E., Howard County. Memorial donations may be made to the Bethany Fellowship Missions Fund.
