Buffy Maedell. Butte, 3 months, of Peru, passed away at 3:24 P.M., Friday, June 30, 2017 at Dukes Memorial Hospital, Peru. Buffy was born in Kokomo, IN on March 13, 2017 the daughter of Chris and Shannon McCord Butte. Surviving in addition to her parents, Chris and Shannon, is a brother Talon Butte, maternal grandparents Jon and Janet Hayes of Peru, paternal grandparents Mike and Deborah Butte of Peru, and maternal great-grandmothers, Nancy Crowe of CA and Rosie Hayes of Peru. A Memorial service celebrating the life of Buffy M. Butte will be held at 12:00 P.M., Friday, July 7, 2017 at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 West Main Street, Peru with Chaplain Jeremy L. Hatley officiating. Family and friends will gather from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., Friday at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to NICF or on line at NICF.org to the Buffy Maedell Butte Scholarship Fund.
