Betty Jo Bluse, 67, of Miami, IN passed away at 12:20 P.M., Sunday, July 16, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Tampa, FL on May 16, 1950, the daughter of Thomas and Joan Conover Cable. Betty Jo married Stephen E. Bluse on December 10, 1977 and he survives. Betty Jo was a member of the Little Flock Ministries of Miami, IN and a 1969 graduate of Maconaquah High School. She was employed as the cafeteria manager at Maconaquah Middle School and Pipe Creek Elementary from 1994 till retirement in 2016. Surviving in addition to her husband, Stephen, are daughters Anastasia (Ryan) Kendall of Kokomo, Jennifer Wilson of Peru and Elizabeth (Ken) Bevington of Kokomo, grandchildren Emily, Erin, Haidyn, Kamren, Madilyn, Alexander, Olivia, Gwyneth and Kayla, great-grandchildren, James and Matthew, sisters Tommie Jean Lopez of Kokomo and Kathryn Dziekan of Pavilion, NY and brothers, Harvey Cable of Walton, IN and Tom Cable, Jr. of Rochester, IN. A service celebrating the life of Betty Jo Bluse will be held at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the McGrawsville United Methodist Church, 9377 S. 300 E., Amboy, IN with Pastor Mark Chase officiating. Family and friends will gather from 12 noon to 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, Peru.
